It’s been almost two years since I wrote a haiku! Just stumbled across Ron’s website in my Bookmarks and realised what a hiatus it has been since my last haiku. CA internship had literally taken over my entire brain I guess😂 . Much thanks to Safari for reminding me of my love for Haikus.

couldn’t breathe,
for it gasped and choked,
while trodden beneath,
its air snatched,
by soulless souls.

Staring at the crimson glow,
Waiting on the emerald metamorphosis,
Palms palpitated, eyes dilated,
A tense shuffle indicated,
you are your cage,
your feathers kissed my palm,
screeching for help,
but the key is in your hands.
in a flight of terror,
he rose above the ground,
wearing his red crown,
in his tireless attempt,
to not fall in the pan,
with all his might he ran!
Yaadon ke chourahe par,
Aaj mulakat hui unse,
Jinhe dekhkar dhadkane tez hoti hai,
Unke jhalak se ek ajeeb ghabrahat hui phir se.
